Chelsea are set to break their spending record to bring the Frenchman out

English: Premier League champions Chelsea seem to be in a slight form this season.

The London-based team is currently preparing a large sum of money to bring a French-class player to change his status.

According to L'Equipe, Chelsea are now competing with Liverpool and Arsenal to buy Thomas Lemar, a key midfielder of AS Monaco.

The 22-year-old will be worth at least 106 million dollars, so if the deal between Chelsea and Monaco is successful, Thomas Lemar will be the most expensive player in Chelsea's history.
